Hi there!
I don't own a Clavia Synth, but several other Synth. I'm interested in the nsmp format and would like to extract the content directly into wav files for converting them later into other formats. If anyone would be so kind and upload any wav file and exact the same file in nsmp format It would be marvelous! :-)
Thank you in advice!
Gerd

Re: nsmp -> wav
Hello !
The nsmp samples are coming from wav files themselves. The best for you is to get the original wav files.
Other way, you will have to record the sounds from a Nord Wave (for ex,) and sample them in a wav format.
Not simple, and surely not satisfying.
But I may not have understood what your intention is ?

The .nsmp sample format is a proprietary format. It is likely that the intent of Clavia is: that these samples only be used with Nord equipment.
The idea that Clavia's intellectual property be used for other manufacturer's instruments, is not likely to gain traction here.
