Here is an idea : some VST like Ableton Live's "Keys" or an EP plugin like "lounge lizard" you can set what noise you want.

Hi ArfNtz,
I did manipulate on my computer a few plugin, but I had such a lag between playing and earing the sound that I gave up.
Maybe I sould give a second chance to those things.
I gess those programs you are talking about are not free ?
I will give a look at it and maybe buy some.
Thanks for the idea,
Cheers,

AAS Lounge lizard has a trial and of course if you use it you have to buy it.
If you have a daw then let it play the midi and record the audio, then export to nord sample editor.

Hi,
The question is : What do you want to hear ? The hammers action ?
I've got a NE5 and a Rhodes MK1 at home...

Hi cemo69,
Yes I want Just the clics keys metalic sound, so my nord electro 5 can mix it with the sound of the EP they propose.
So I have the EP Nord sound on one side and a sample of the mecanical sound on the other.

In final I can simulate the total sound of someone playing in front of a real Rhodes, like as if I put a mic near the player.
Just like in the video on youtube I posted above at the begining of the threat.

I dream of Nord proposing such samples as in the Kronos. It would be easy for them.

Thanks,
Cheers,

Ok, i see !

So you need us to sample a real Rhodes without any amplification !
Thank to a microphone in front of the keyboard (maybe we should remove the top cover when recording...)
Maybe i can try with a zoom H4. (i must borrow it to my band...)

Hi,
Whaouuuuuuu ..... it would be great and very useful ......
If you can do that, the Electro 5 would be unbeatble on EP sounds simulation.
Thank you,

Hi !

Here a short test with a vsti samples....

Advice : In sample section, use Dynamic Level 3 and set Eq as you like...
Not so easy to adjust, but it could works !

not sure that i can do more with my real Rhodes's sampling...

Remenber : Onto a Rhodes you also have a release sound effect....but impossible to manage it in sample library...
Maybe the result is close to the previous sample you've mentioned...
