Hi,
Anyone has a sample just for the intro of In the Air Tonight, the drums box, like some of you did for Eminence Front?
Then I could play it on my Stage 2....
Just let me know, I've never sampled anything and I'm not comfortable to do it....

Instead of sampling, maybe you can tweak my DrummerBot patch to match the tempo and the pattern of the song? See:

You will have to play with the various clock settings in the synth arpeggiator, LFO and Delay as they are controlled by the master clock.
Also the LFO modulation of the filter can bring some variation to the "drum" sounds.

Finaly, I'm close to play it with my band... Tough to convince a rock guitar player to play Pop songs, but we are currently practicing Sledgehammer and Abacab and "In the Air" will be the next one. Anyone who has the drumbox sample for the beginning?

This "fear of the unknown/untried" is unjustified and holding you back. For real, man, just free up yourself and take the plunge. Record whatever you want into mono or stereo .wav file, 44.1kHz. Nord Sample Editor makes the rest quite easy. Check out the vid on Nord's youtube channel with the toy glockenspiel. Once you've jumped into the pool and gotten your feet wet, you'll be swimming like a fish in no time.

The fear/unknown for sure... But my abilities to plug/record as well : My 10 year old PC has no recording software installed in (My cubase is for Mac but I haven't any mac anymore...) and my current rehab from a spinal chord injury makes me "lacky"...should I say when I have done all my daily exercices, I'm "done/too tired"? yes...so, I asked if someone has it...

Thanks for the lesson/reminder that as I sit in front of my computer at this internet portal I am completely unaware of the hidden circumstances which may exist for the person to whom I am speaking as she/he sits in front of her/his computer at some other internet portal remote to me. I hope you know that my comments were intended as good-natured encouragement and not as criticism for asking around in case perhaps someone else out there may already have trod this path and created the sample for which you are searching.

That said, perhaps temporary times of reduced mobility are ideally suited for sitting around in front of a computer screen and indulging in exploring/learning new tricks which you can carry with you later. Audacity is free. Perhaps even Windows Recorder can do this? Everyone I have spoken to who has taken that plunge and ventured into the world of custom sampling for their Nord has found the experience quite rewarding.

PS -- worst-case scenario, if you ultimately do not find or are unable to create this, let me know and I'll do it for you as a "pay it forward" gesture and in memory of former member Hanon who used to handle these kinds of requests as though we was a short order cook at a diner, whipping them out overnight.

If seating a long time could be used to play more with computer that's not the case for me, spinal chord injury and sacral vertebraes damaged, then, seating is painful. And as I want to get my life back ASAP, I dedicate my time to do what I was doing before : practicing with my band....
For sure, I will be more into recording/sampling in the future and I will but today I don't hve the energy and the force to do it, physically and mentally.
So, if you could do it for me, thanks a lot, I will promise to use it. In fact, I just have to use my daughter mac, connecting the M-Audio interface and just playing the record to get the notes....then, Nord wave sampler should do the trick

"Nord wave sampler?" Nord does not make a device or software which is capable of performing the recording function, but it is entirely possible that your daughter's Mac does (Garage Band?). Yes, playing the record into the computer via M-Audio audio interface and playing the record to make a recording of that passage is exactly what you want.

Once the resulting .wav file is in hand, Nord can handle the rest. This will be a large file, too large perhaps for transmitting via email, but if you and your daughter are able to create this and can post it to an online Dropbox account or similar, I can pick it up there and complete the process for you.
