Maybe, or maybe the keyboard is OK and it is just you simply not liking it the way it is... (?) anyway if it is a one-time defect you can return it and get it fixed or replaced. If instead you don't like the shape & feel of that keybed there is not much you can do but change and buy a different stage piano.

PS: have you tried to compare to another, of the same model of course, at the shop, to be sure it is just your one having that problem?

Thanks
Tried another one in shop, same problem .. so maybe a production line problem resulting in several 'bad' key beds.
Anyway, I'll buy a RD2000 now.
With my post I just want to flag this problem, so that new buyers can test fully in shop :-)

Warning for potential NS users!

Postby Nord_Stage_DK » 04 Jun 2017, 18:52

If you are still considering buying a NS, I would recommend that you check the keys!
I had to return my Nord Stage 2 EX 88 due to problems with the white keys; very sharp corners that give problems when moving your fingers alongside the keys upwards (as applicable for large chords).
I have now bought a Roland RD2000 and it's GREAT. Lovely touch, great keys and a great sound as well (actually better the the Nord Piano sound).
I know the Nord affiliated administrator of this site will either delete (or stop) this topic; anyway, just a warning!! .. a lot of money to spend on what seems to be a faulty keybed (Italian supplier to the 'fully handmade in Sweden' keyboard!)

Goemonier wrote:Hi. After much deliberation I finally bought a Piano 2 HP.

I'm really impressed with the sound, and the overally build quality, but I'm finding the keyboard uncomfortable to play because of sharp edges on the corners of the white keys.

Any suggestions? A suitable abrasive to smooth them off maybe?

Thanks

Again with this?

Apparently, nobody else has ever had a problem with this.

The only thread that was locked was when you posted multiple threads at the same time, and one of them was in the wrong forum.

I'm pretty sure the other thread is still open.

Since you posted the same thread in multiple sub-forums, knowing that that isn't allowed, you're doing a great job at setting yourself up as the victim here: One of these two identical threads is going to be locked.

The world is such a cruel place.
