At my NS2 I used a Roland EV5 to controll the volume. When it was connected it worked automatically for all programs.
Do you know how I can do the same at the NS3? When it is connected the volume shows no reaction, only if I set it by morph. But do I have to set it for each program now?

Re: Volume Pedal on NS3
Try to use the organ swell-jack with the Exp.pedal.. this works perfectly over all programs! See also on page 53 in the manual

Re: Volume Pedal on NS3
I also tried it to use as swell pedal, but the problem was still the same, no reaction. I read the manual many times, even in German, but I couldn‘t fix my problem not yet. There are to little Information about it. Actually I‘m familiar with nord products, but here I‘m feeling stupid. Maybe my English is to bad and anybody could post the solution in German?!
Thanks in advance...

Re: Volume Pedal on NS3
Hi there
just ran a test in my NS3, works fine.
If you go to system-settings menu 11- swell pedal, there you need to assign the pedal to function (FUNC) as volume (not swell) pedal.
When you do this, the pedal should control the main volume on every soundprogram.
Be sure to connect the FC to organswell-jack, not controlpedal-jack.
Regards Cato

Re: Volume Pedal on NS3
Hi folks. Worked perfectly here too, thanks.
Is there a way to limit the volume range ? example fully open 100% volume, fully closed 80%.
I know I can do the same using the pedal as control pedal and controlling the volume for each section, but this obliges me to set it individually vs. having all controlled without assign controls.
Thanks in advance

Hi Neo, unfortunately there is no parameter to limit the range of Volume control by Swell Pedal, but if you use an expression pedal with the possibility to set the minimum via a pot (e.g. Roland EV5 or Boss FV 500L) you can do it "in HW"

Re: Volume Pedal on NS3
Grazie Max. I was looking to buy a another pedal to use for volume control, besides the expression. I will try Roland EV5 then. Ciao
