Two control pedals :-)
I have to share something I just learned: You can have two control pedals if at least one of them is MIDI-capable! The trick is that the mod wheel is MIDI-controllable via CC #1, which I didn't realize because it is missing in the MIDI Controller list (probably because it is a standard controller number). Of course, it doesn't make sense to use the wheel and the MIDI pedal at the same time: If you move either the mod wheel or the pedal, the morphed knobs will jump to the corresponding value. But controlling the mod wheel via a control pedal also has the rather nice consequence of being able to leave the control pedal at home on occasion.
Of course, this works with aftertouch as well, but it is very easy to hit aftertouch accidentally, and then the value will be back to zero until you move the pedal.
I use a MIDI pedal board that includes two expression pedals. One of them is always configured as a control pedal, and the other one is usually the swell pedal, though sometimes I use it to control the synth volume or something else. Now I'm just going to let it control the mod wheel, and use that to morph the organ or synth volume or whatever else instead.

I use a Behringer FCB1010 board. See this post (and the next): http://www.norduserforum.com/post12702.html#p12702

Re: Two control pedals :-)
Hi,
I am using an FC300 with two expression pedals. One is set to CC11 to control the synth volume. I am looking to control the organ volume separately and have set up a volume morph to the mod wheel. However, when I set the other expression pedal to CC1 it wont pick the mod wheel up..............any ideas?

Re: Two control pedals :-)
Hm, hard to tell. It didn't seem to me like I had to change any particular settings. Just make sure that you are sending the CC messages on the MIDI channel that is configured as "global" in the NS2.
In the pedal board I use, the two pedals can be set to different MIDI channels; could that be true of the FC300 as well? Does the MIDI light of the Stage light up, and if yes, just briefly or for something like half a second (which indicates incoming data on a channel that is configured for something?
One thing you could try is to connect a MIDI cable from the NS2 MIDI Out to MIDI In, set the Extern channel to the same as the global channel, and see if you can control the mod wheel using the Extern section. That might give you an idea whether the FC300 or the Stage is the source of the problem.

Re: Two control pedals :-)
I support the advices of FunKey. Use the global channel and check that the midi led is blinking. Also reset all the devices.
I think I actually had a similar problem sometimes, i.e. the expression pedal midi commands towards NS2 worked fine, and the modulation wheel commands did not. I can't however repeat that problem. Maybe I had some settings wrong, just don't know what. I hope you also your problem will vanish in the same way
