Hey PScooter63,

Can you elaborate on this? How do you do this with ForScore? I'm not understanding.

Thanks
Al

This page is where I stumbled on how to do this:

If you browse their other Features of the Week, you'll find additional MIDI topics.

I picked up ForScore for my iPad this week, great app. Will replace my music stand for sure and take care of all my program changes, I even have it opening projects in Reaper.

Have it talking to my Windows PCs over wifi using rtpMidi. Very solid so far. My Mac Mini (running Windows) will provide the wifi with an adhoc network when I'm at a practice/gig.

Auto page-turning will be very useful and eliminates (for me at least) the need to buy a Bluetooth pedal.

I discovered an iOS App called Newzik (https://newzik.com/), sheet music reader with all the annotation, setlist management features AND a powerful MIDI link! Another awesome point is the lyrics & chart functionality, and the Dev Team is really nice and reactive.

I have been using a similar program called "OnSong". I scanned in my sheet music and have it scroll by as I play it. Works pretty well. It has some capabilities to set Midi Program Changes on song change, I think, but I have not used it for that yet.

Anyone else use "OnSong"?

The midi capability is much more sophisticated.

- on song change
- by taping a section of the song
- By section as a section of the song scrolls by if your using the scroll feature
- on Sticky Note press (you can add sticky notes)

It will also monitor MIDI commands, so if you want to know what MIDI command to use, you can change the setting on your keyboard and it will capture the MIDI changes as they happen.
