Hi, I know that rotary speed and organ drawbars can be morphed to act together via the mod wheel.
I can get it to work where the mod wheel works "bottom to top" to get the drawbars to pull "in to out" and the speed to go "slow to fast".
Is it possible to set it to go the opposite direction on the mod wheel: i.e. move mod wheel "top to bottom", drawbars "pull in to out", speed "slow to fast" (slow when bars are in, fast when bars are out)?
The drawbars will work in this direction, but the rotary speed seems to want to always switch back to slow to fast when the mod wheel is moved. Is this a bug or is it how it is designed to work?
Thanks.

Re: Rotary Speed Mod Wheel Morph
Yep, confirmed, it cannot be done. I do not know if this is a bug or not, as this function is not documented in the manual, as far as I remember.

Re: Rotary Speed Mod Wheel Morph
Thanks. Another related thing maybe you noticed/anyone can help with:
If I want to have the option to use either the mod wheel and/or the pedal switch to engage/control the rotary speed, depending on where my hands are:
I can use the Mod Wheel to MORPH the rotary speed (either including or not including the drawbars, just incrementally slow to fast/fast to slow back and forth). When a pedal is connected to the LATCH/ROTARY input and set to "Rotary Hold" or "Rotary Toggle" (not Latch), the Mod Wheel will morph the rotary speed, but it seems to "override" the pedal, i.e. sometimes the pedal will also work (and switch the rotary speeds), but sometimes, depending on where the mod wheel is positioned, trying to switch the rotary speed on and off using the pedal will have no effect.
Is this normal/correct? Thank you

Re: Rotary Speed Mod Wheel Morph
yes, it is normal/correct. If you assign two different control sources (e.g. mod wheel and pedal switch) to control the same parameter then you're really asking for trouble because there will necessarily be conflicts between the two under certain conditions. This will be true of anything, not just Nords and not just keyboards. Pick one or the other control source and go with that one only.
