Hi guys,
There are some of us who play Nord Stage 2 with real Leslie (or external Leslie sim) and control speed via MIDI from Nord's stop/run and slow/fast on-board switches. The issue is, when the Leslie sim is turned off, the LED speed indicators turns off, and the only way to send speed change is to click twice, when LEDs comes up for a second and turns down again, so we have to click again twice, for LEDs to come up and to change speed. This can be very confusing, especially on the stage. Is there a possibility that, whenever the Leslie sim is turned on or off, the speed indicators (stop/run and slow/fast) stays always on, so they could send MIDI in the same way as they are sending while the Leslie sim is on?
Thank you for your patience!
All the best!

Re: Request for a feature in next OS update
I will appreciate if you could guide me where I can post this to be more appropriate and visible to Nord people. Thanks!

Re: Request for a feature in next OS update
It is possible..
You can select piano or synth to use the leslie sim, so it won't control the organ...
But of course that's only possible if you don't use piano or synth, because then it will be used with that.
That's the only way it will work
And imho I don't think Nord will implement that, because to do that it would be necessary to make that change to all sections and controls. Because as you'll know every function has the same behavior like the one you mentioned for the Leslie

Thanks Martin!
Yes, it is a good workaround, with that limitation that you mention.
Cheers!

Also, have you thought about using a pedal?
There is a separate input for a Leslie speed pedal, you can use any cheap momentary switch.
That way, you can control rotary speed without taking your hands off the keys.
I don't know if it will send MIDI signal when the Leslie simulation is turned off, but I think it's worth trying
