Hi guys.
I'm thinking of replacing my stage 2 i sold last year after a band change.
I'm based in the Uk and have noticed Gear4Music have got a great deal on the NS2 probably due to the NS3 release and also offer a 6 year extended warranty.
Has anyone used this company.
I don't want to pay extra for a 6 year warranty if they are going to disappear in a years time.
Thank you.

Hi,
Which one did you buy? Also, in Canadian $, it's 3600$ for the 88 notes, not bad, when I bought mine in 2011, it was 4200$...and the regular price is around 5000$? I might be tempted by a compact one, 1799£ = 3000 CAN$, having more room for pianos and samples is what is the most important for me to buy the stage 3, the rest, Leslie per slot, effects morphable, smooth transitions and the NL A1 synth, Setlist etc, I can live without it, I have already put in place other workarounds to palliate these little issues (Other synths, NL2X, Ipad and Setlist maker App, etc...)
But a compact one that I can use when we have a small gig and when I don't need to bring everything might be a good solution....

Re: Price drop on stage 2
In fact, it's even better than the current cash back promo made in the US only by Nord USA...500 US$ cash back on a Nord stage 2 Ex Compact at 3500 US$ will still be 3000 US$, not even close to the 3000 CAN$ = 2300 US$...Yes, it's seems to be a very good one....

Re: Price drop on stage 2
For 500 I'd rather have the stage 3.
For a K I start considering a stage 2ex + Kontact 11 Ultimate.
Half a terrabyte of sounds of every type imaginable to control from the stage 2 ex.

Hi. I opted for the smallest 73, had the Ha76 before and a couple of 88's before that, this is about my 7th Nord in the last 7 years,
The price is £1800, i paid just short of £2000 as i ordered extras and a 6 year warranty,

I would say HUGE price drop. Now it's actually cheaper to buy a new NS2EX rather than most used NS2
Damn, now I'm tempted to update my 6-years old Stage2...
