Hello Everyone, I'm new in this new amazing NS world.
Is it possible to get a pitch bend effect by using aftertouch?
when I press the key harder it will change the note by 2 semi tones.

Re: Pitch Bend on After Touch
The only way I can think that this would work would be in the synth section. You would need to use the square, triangle, or saw wave and turn the little knob beneath the synth display to DTN. Then you would set the MORPH ASSIGN to the SHAPE knob. I don't have my axe set up, but give that a shot and let me know if it works!

Re: Pitch Bend on After Touch
Hi Alex, what Ebown said is not a pitch bend. The result would be only a two-oscilator-detune as if you would play with that shape-encoder. A real pitch-bend does only the stick, and only two semi tones. You can bend the pitch when you set the voic mode-button on mono or legato. But that's just only one note and works only with the synth of corse.

Ah yes. I forgot about mono mode. I'm going to try it out later today to see if I can make something work.

Re: Pitch Bend on After Touch
Okay, so after trying the steps I said above, Hansi is right. Even in mono or legato mode, it will keep one PAC on pitch and raise or lower the second one. It could work in a pinch, but not to the effect you'd be looking for.
