Re: piano sound with least hammer attack
Hi aqua, I find it a bit difficult to advise since I don't quite know what you are after (i.e. why you would like a piano to sound less piano-like? after all the hammers belong to the real thing). My best suggestion would be to take a pair of good headphones and listen to the demo sounds on http://www.nordkeyboards.com/sound-libr ... no-library, and see what pleases you most.
If your hammer attack sounds problematic in an amplified context, there might also be a problem in the amplification-speaker chain with overly harsh treble...
Hope you'll find the sound you're looking for,
Cheers

Have you tried using the compressor effect to reduce the volume of the attack? Good luck.

Re: piano sound with least hammer attack
The piano sound with the least attack must be, without a doubt, a "reversed" piano sample (like the one in 'Another one bites the dust').
Somebody posted one of those samples, but I cannot find it right now.
