Hi all,
I'm newbie for Nord Stage 3 compact, please pardon my basic question. I saw in the manual that output 3-4 are not meant for organ rotary effect. In this case, I can have all sound going out to output 3-4 except the B3 sound (because it is always routed to the rotary speaker effect).
For gigging, I always have a mixer for signal distribution, but for whatever reasons my come out in the future, is there a way to 100% duplicate the output 1-2 to output 3-4? It is great to have a personal monitoring signal independent to whatever sent to the FOH.
Thank you in advance.

Why would that be necessary ?
Doesn't your mixer have a monitor output or an AUX or even Subs ?
That way you can control any output in your personal mix regardless of what's going to the FoH.
That's the way I do it as I sometimes split-off the mic-signal and can make sure I hear it regardless of what the FoH does with it.
The following statement is not true. The previous statement is true.

I want this feature like the OP because my new amp doesn't have a passthrough and I don't like having to add a mixer between me and my drummer's DAW interface when we get together and jam. So now I'm using two 1/4" Y splitters because this feature is unavailable. Mixers are cheap, but that's just more crap to hook up and get in the way. To answer the original question, sadly, no you cannot clone outputs 1-2 to 3-4.

There isn't, I'm afraid.
Use s small monitor mixer in your end (like a Rolls PM-351, which is what I use), hack a splitter cable, or use alternatively the headphones out to your monitor setup. Or play mono
I play with in-ears, and run my keys (in stereo) and my voice through the Rolls and get a mix in return of the other instruments and voices, and can adjust the balance between the 3 signals locally.

Re: Output 3-4 for duplicate?
What about using the headphone output? Or a stereo DI box featuring an extra output?
Sure you need to connect an extra set of cables, but it does what you want now. Somehow I just do not see Clavia implementing a new function since it never worked like that in any of the previous instruments. I wish I am wrong because it would be useful.

Re: Output 3-4 for duplicate?
I use all 4 outputs of my NS2 units going into a mixer that ultimately feeds a stereo DI. I have this one:
http://www.radialeng.com/jdiduplex.php
This allows me to have a 1/4" stereo send of my keyboards to feed my IEM rig and stereo XLR outputs to feed FOH. This works really well for me.
In case you may wonder what I'm doing with my 4 outputs, here it is:
- Outputs 1 & 2: Stereo send of piano and synth sounds
- Output 3: Dedicated to organ output to Neo Ventilator, which is a very impressive Leslie simulator and I love how it sounds
- Output 4: Occasionally use this when a particular sound needs a differential boost - for example, my band does a few songs where I trigger loops (Eminence Front, Money) from my NS2 and it helps to have a separate volume control for these.

Re: Output 3-4 for duplicate?
Thank you so much for the answers. I really wish the out 3-4 can be a real duplicate because my mixer does not have aux, and yes mixer is expensive and adds more complexity. I appreciate your time!

A small mixer that can do the job does not need to be expensive, you may get a cheap Behringer Xenix 502 or 802 and they are OK for stage use; yes it is one more item (and power supply) in the setup but it also adds more flexibility to it.
The easiest "free" alternative is to use the headphone output for the monitoring, which is absolutely OK.

I don't know about your disposable income but this is what I've got
And there's probably others in that price-range.
I've got a small case with the mixer and all cables in it so I just have to plug it in to the power-outlet and NS.

Re: Output 3-4 for duplicate?
I'm trying to bring less items, less cables and less electronics (hence less complexity). That's why I was thinking about duplicating the output 1-2 to output 3-4. It was a question for the Nord keybaord. Thank you for responding.
