There was no HW replacement provided ... NS2 Rev A owners are still "disappointed" for that (btw... you should fix the thread title ), a partial update to provide them some HW-independent new features (e.g. Arp Hold) was done but KBGate was impossible, as said.jprykiel wrote:Hey Max, fascinating. But how would an NS2 owner have had his HW replaced in this case?
Another funny thing, these features were not documented in the NS2 manual or addundum as far as I know.
Well, I think dropping a line to the feature request thread will not do bad.

Re: Re: NS3 small disappointment, latch mode/ KB gate is gone
Hello again.
As a blind user, the bug report/feature request Google sheet is not something I can handle. I wonder if someone would be kind enough to include my request in this sheet if you find it valuable. Furthermore, seamless change has its limitations. In fact, it only works between one program and the next one, try this:
Select a pad, hold a cord, Select another sound, play it, and then try to go back to the first pad sound. You'll notice that the notes you are holding will be gone. So, you cannot really achieve what the latch/kb gate combination allowed you to do. Too bad, I really miss this.
Cheers,
JPR

Yes, you're right....I was not using it a lot at first (just like a third pedal on a grand piano) but a Russian (or Ukranian ??...) guy gave us on this website very good examples with videos and Pablo added some other examples and now I'm using it way more....So, one more reason for me to keep my Stage 2 HA 88 when I will buy the Stage 3 compact...
