Here in the UK the price advertised is £3,499 which is astronomical I think. Wouldn't mind if it had a decent key bed, but Fatar do not fill me with confidence at all.
Won't be getting one at this price - Kronos LS is cheaper and pretty equal in performance by the looks of it!

Re: NS3 Pricing
Maybe after you try the keybed of Kronos LS (no aftertouch btw) you will have a different opinion... and if you think a Kronos is equal in performance, for what you need at leastm so why bothering about the NS3 price (or is that actually your only problem you have with it)?

Re: NS3 Pricing
Sweetwater advertises them at 3499$ / 3799$ / 3999$. Seems actually quite reasonable, well, at least compared to the 2EX prices.
No idea about the UK, but certainly the exchange rate is a bit different now. Let's hope they don't gio the Toblerone route leaving some keys out...

Re: NS3 Pricing
I was looking at Sweetwater and the Stage 3 price(88=$3999) is less than the Stage 2 (88ex=$4499). Yesterday, their site was showing a price reduction on the Stage 2 line. I may be wrong but I think they accidentally swapped the prices. I hope the Stage3 is only 3999 but I think it's really gonna be $4499...ouch. Don't know how I will be able to explain that charge on my credit card. If I start saving now and skip on vacations, I should be able to get one in 2019. At this price, I think I'm gonna give up keys and take up the harmonica or bird-watching.
Don't get me wrong, I'm the biggest, most obnoxious Nord fan-boy in the world. I will get a stage3...one day. They look awesome and I'm sure they are worth the price. Until then, long live my Stage2.

Re: NS3 Pricing
I pre-ordered this from Sweetwater and confirmed the $3999 price. Other sites ( Kraft music ) also have the NS3 88 listed at $3999.

Re: NS3 Pricing
I already started selling my Nord Stage 2... I hope I can at least gather half of the cost! But as far as I have seen, most sites have the same prices now.

Re: NS3 Pricing
I need my Stage 2 for gigs. I will not sell it until I have the Stage 3 programmed and ready to go! Just pre ordered mine from Sweetwater as well. The 73 is perfect for me.

$4500 smackers, pallies. We're pretty much at university-level pricing now. As in, maybe your school's music program will buy one. Maybe.
$4500 buys a lot of gear. Granted, the Stage 3 looks to be pretty incredible. I'm not sure how much incredible one needs to bash out All Down the Line, or channel Greg Hawkes, or sound like a church organ...but with this product and this price, Nord may be able to lay claim to offering the flagship keyboard of the electronic world.
