Hi,

New bug on 1,32 or new mechanical issue ? Wheel doesn't reach the maximum value (only the half I think), for internal sounds or external sounds too (my G2X). I set a Wheel morph with the filter FQ and when I push the wheel to the max, my filter is half opened.
AND, when the wheel is pushed to the max, the value slowly decrease.

Do you confirm or do I have another mechanical issue ? I have the compact model.

IIRC someone else had a similar issue, which was a mechanical problem. It works fine on my HA88. Try a search - I am not with my computer now, so I dont easily find the post.

That's right. No issue on my Stage 3 HA88

True that, but it looks suspiciously similar to what you experience (the range somehow is miscalibrated or does not reach either end).

So even though it manifests itself slightly differently in your case, it unfortunately sounds like the same or a very similar mechanical (or electro-mechanical) problem

If you downgrade, you will confirm if it’s a firmware or mechanical issue.
But so far, all threads I read confirm the mechanical issue on the compact.

I have this issue. It is NOT software related. It is purely hardware related. My Mod Wheel was inoperable out of the box. I had to open it and reconnect it. It was connected but off by four pins? WTF. Once I reinstalled correctly was working fine for a month then I started having the Morph issue with the mod wheel not getting to 0db or only going to 50% volume. I fixed this by BANGING on the freakin keyboard. Yep, that's right, very scientific. So, there is something else with either the wiring or circuit board that is not functioning properly or intermittent. The fix is to send it back to NORD, however, It's been a very busy gig season for me and I need a loaner. NORD should acknowledge the issue, send out a Tech Bulletin describing the issue, and offer a fix. I have sent two Support requests to them and they have been IGNORED!!!! WTF?

It's my second NS3. The first one had the wheel connector issue (fixed by myself), and had other bugson the whhel. After 2 repairs without result, they sent me a new NS3. And now, this new wheel issue... I will check the connector first in few days, and if it's not that, it will send my NS3 again. Third NS3 repair for 5 months... If it wasn't the only synth that feet for me, I would change immediatly...

I do not understand why this mod wheel issue has not been corrected.

As the person with the issue of the mod wheel not reaching zero, I suspect that these problems are related. I'm not entirely convinced my issue is mechanical - I'm wondering about doing a factory reset.

I've set a support message to Clavia, but haven't heard back yet. It is the holiday season though!
