I REALLY hope the is a prefab location to mount a Halfmoon switch. It is bummer not having one on my NS2EX76. I saw the rig in another post to "make" one, but at $3300 you'd think they would consider Pre drilling to mount one.

Re: NS3 Halfmoon switch
The Halfmoon will be supported on NS3 Compact only (with mounting holes included of course).

Which seems to be logical, the Compact being the more Organ oriented model...

True, but I wonder what the problem if they would have allowed it to be used also on the 76/88; Nord choice in this case is debatable imho.

Re: NS3 Halfmoon switch
Totally Illogical to NOT have a Halfmoon mounting on the 76&88 NS3. After all, they make a "big deal" about the quality of the Nord organ & Leslie model! It is pitiful to think that they couldn't drill and thread a couple of holes during production.

Don't know... Maybe... because the "User" smcelyea would like to have a "Sample" of a NS3 76/88 with an halfmoon switch on it?

Man, I didn't mean to get anybody's knickers in a twist by where I posted this. Yet, the question prevails. You have MY permission to copy and paste MY post in whatever forum you think is proper. However I am talking about an NS3 76/88, it plays samples, and just happens to do piano, as well as Organ/Leslie sounds. I see all kinds of posts under "Nord" in various "Nord" forums. I am not trying to whine here, but can't you give an ignorant guy a break. If you want "Sample" question or statement question, here comes one... Does anybody out there have a good, believable, Pedal Steele sample with playable notes, not just a loop of a lick?
Blessings to all. Thanks for listing to me pontificate, no matter where this ends up being placed when I hit "send". Lol
