Hello folks,
I received some great photos from a nice chap called Peter, showing the NS2 sitting on top of his new VPC1.
Facebook gallery: NS2 + VPC1
Definitely a very cool setup...and the Baldwin grand ain't bad either.
Cheers,
James

My mind says Kawai, but my heart says Nord.

Look at those pedals... Looks like Kawai and Nord get them from the same supplier, but rebadged with their own brand name?
Nice music room, but it looks like a pretty tight fit

Personally, I use an MP8II as a controller for my Electro 3 (when playing acoustic/electric piano voices).
However, these pictures show a VPC1. This is a new controller product developed primarily for virtual piano software (Ivory, Pianoteq, Galaxy, etc.), however it can of course be used to control other hardware - including Nord boards, such as the NS2 in this case.

Nice rig. Personally, I'd prefer having the NS2 Compact on top. Two 88 weighted boards feels duplicative to me.
Nords: NE2, NS2 88, NS3 Compact x 2
Live rig: NS3, Vent, Radial KL-8, Shure PSM-900 IEM Rig, UE18 & UE7 IEMs.
Studio: Hammond A-101 & Leslie 122, Yamaha CP-80, Yamaha S90, NS2, DSI Prophet-6, Vent II, Roland JX-8P.

Yes, I'm inclined to agree. However, the VPC1 is a new addition - the customer already had the NS2 88.
Cheers,

There is a triple pedal look-alike in the Fatar website:
http://www.fatar.com/Pages/VFP3.htm
So probably they are the same?

The Nord triple pedal is most likely made by Fatar. The problem is that those single-connector triple pedals are nowhere to be found under the Fatar name.

30Kg + a good trolley bag or flight case (better)... if you have someone doing the service for you, maybe... otherwise better go for something lighter as a piano-action master keyboard for the Nord Stage...
