I have question regarding the Nord Stage EX (256 MB) and the piano library. What kind of piano sample makes sense M, L or XL?

Thank you. Is there a difference in playing a XL-piano-sample in a nord stage 2 compared to an older stage EX? F.e. in terms of string resonance? Or is there a difference only in terms of storage size?
