Yes, I agree and have meanwhile sold my NS3-88 and bought an NS2EX88...

Re: Nord Stage 3 Velocity curve problem
Do we need ANOTHER thread on this?
It’s been discussed to death in every. Single. f****. Thread. On the Stage 3.
No, it is not a problem. Some people just don’t like the handling and are sticking with the Stage 2. Others (myself included) absolutely love it and are much happier than they were with the Stage 2.
That’s how it is with keyboards.

Re: Nord Stage 3 Velocity curve problem
The keyboard and the velocity curves on the NS3 are not a problem for me either. I understand some feel differently -- but as @analogika asks: Do we really need yet another thread on the same topic, which is being brought up in just above EVERY other thread that seems to remotely justify a connection to the topic.
In some ways, I wonder whether it starts to dilute the strength of the message of those that want another and heavier curve in addition to the ones already there...

I did a thread about that.

Re: Nord Stage 3 Velocity curve problem
Way, way, WAY less than half the users here see it as a “problem”.
Well more than half the *posts* seem to have a problem, but they’re all from the same four or five users.

Re: Nord Stage 3 Velocity curve problem
The point is this. There are already more than enough threads that deal with this issue.
Yes, I'm surprised Nord haven't responded as it does seem to have pi$$ed off a few (much less than half) users of this forum and, OK, some are who not registered (judging by your comment).
I'd've thought that implementing (even if it has to be an additional Sytem Menu option) a few more velocity curves really isn't that hard (I've been a Real-Time Embedded Systems programmer for over 30 years).
If Nord were to do this, then we wouldn't need so many threads about it
But, I'm afraid, I believe that you adding a new thread complaining about the same old issue is just a waste of time. @aureliopenna's thread more than covers everything!

Re: Nord Stage 3 Velocity curve problem
It adds gravity to the problem if people keep posting about it and hijacking unrelated threads to complain.
After all, I don’t go starting a thread every week and posting in various random threads how much better the Stage 3 velocity response works for me, and how much better it sounds.

Re: Nord Stage 3 Velocity curve problem
NS3C at least has very poor incoming MIDI velocity curves but playing on its internal keyboard is fantastic. This thread doesn't seem to specify.

Re: Nord Stage 3 Velocity curve problem
Yes, must agree, that we doesn't need to "re-create" others velocity curve thread.
Not to mention, that My thread is not ONLY about velocity curve, but general sound as well.
So feel free to come to my thread and even post anything related to velocity curve or velocity layer, equalization, noises or something because
we are many (much more than a half LOL, just joking, I'm not counting)!
