Velocity on Stage 3 88 which I now own, and the Stage 3 Compact (which I just sold) is perfectly fine. I have a relatively heavy touch when playing, and I don’t have any isssues whatsoever. I don’t understand all these complaints about the velocity. It’s far better than my Electro 5D was!
Just my two cents. Nice update!

It seems that sometimes no matter what Nord do, it's never enough....... Give them time mate!

I might be wrong, but that was one of the most critical point from NS3C users (ok Half them).

Re: Nord Stage 3 - Updates
My understanding is that it was the velocity when a Stage 3 Compact is played from another controller but the velocity when you play the NS3C directly is great...
Stage 2/C2/NL2X+TC Pedals, 2XMatrix, EMU P2K, TX802, DSI P8/Tetra+H9, P12+TC HoF, D50+PG1000, XV5080,AX keytar, Streichfett, Drumbrute.Ibanez SR1200 & 2605 basses, Artstar AS153,G&L L2000,Legacy HSS,Asat Blueboys,Asat Deluxe Savanna.genelec 8040A.

Totaly agree...!
it seems they changed the keyboard touch but don't adapt the velocity curve to it ....

Maybe I missed something, but I thought the velocity response of the action in the Compact model was one of the things that folks are particularly happy about.

This new update is unstable. Sometimes i play a rhodes, suddenly my strings stops. I begin a tour soon, i am not confident at all.

I haven't experienced that (neither at home nor playing live); can you detail exactly what you're doing? Are you playing a layered sound with epiano on one panel and some synth pad based on sampled stings on the same -- or on another panel? Is it just one panel with those two instruments, or do you have more instruments active? Are you playing from the internal keyboard? Do you use the sustain pedal, and does it happen to already playing sounds or does it simply stop sounding also for new notes? Do you have any morphs set up (e.g. to fade the strings in and out)? And if so, do you have any pedals to control it? Do you have any MIDI input to the keyboard?
This _might_ be related to polyphony, of course, but it's hard to tell without a bit more details.
Just trying to help.

To confirm what you say, we need to know how the issue happens, in order to try to replicate it.

This may (or may not) be related...
When I first loaded 1.36, I noticed that, very occasionally, pressing the sustain pedal wouldn't sustain the notes (simple piano patch) I was holding even though most of the time it would work correctly...!
I tried several different sustain pedals but still the same problem. So I reloaded 1.32 and still got the same issue...!!
I then reloaded 1.36 and now I can't replicate the problem - the sustain pedal never seems to fail now!!
Very bizarre to say the least, but I wondered if that's the sort of issue that was perhaps causing your strings to not sustain...?
