Here's my "custom" hard velocity setting using the MIDI OUT to IN cable loop and the EXTERN section to control the PIANO section as described in my post above in SLOT A.
Please compare this to SLOT B - there should be a big difference when playing softly!
Best regards, Alex

Re: Nord Stage 3 Impressions Musikmesse
Hi guys,
I played the NS3 on Musikmesse myself and one thing is a step back for the Nord series: the volume knobs for the sections are not stepless anymore. They applied steps to it, and I really don't know why... The steps are small enough to not be audible but still though... The feeling is different.
What do you think?
Blessings, Sebastian

Hey Sebastian,
keep in mind they had prototypes there... Some stuff is still not implemented or can be changed.
We'll now at the first (real) tests in July.

Re: Nord Stage 3 Impressions Musikmesse
Does anyone has information on USB connectivity implemented on the NS3 ? Same as NS2 ? Faster ? Same Type B connector on the back panel ?

So if they are not audible that is OK, then.

As long as they encoders behave the same, this does not bother me at all-
