Please give us the option to switch too other rotary simulation models at least then.

EDIT: Still seems weird that it is possible on the C2 but not on a newer keyboard like the NS2 which is based on the C2 (organ-wise). But I'm no expert.

The explanation Nord gave is perfectly reasonable. They would do it if they could. You can't fault them for not being able to completely predict a year or more in advance what might be needed to support an upgrade that had not been created yet. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. It's not like NS2 suddenly sounds worse than it did when you bought it and thought it sounded great. Nord and Kurzweil support their boards better than anyone else, in terms of offering upgrades that add new capabilities that didn't exist when you bought them, but people will always find something to complain about.

That's verry true and i still love the NS2.
But if you promote a board as your Flagship, it would be nice to support it
as The flagship.

I accept it as it is lol, but it's just strange the C2 can, and the NS2 don't.

Besides that, i love my Nord.

I have a C2 updated to v2.00 and a Stage 2 HA88 side by side, in a mix I doubt you will hear any difference between the organs.

But I am very happy for the C2 update, the Leslie sim and key click enhancements are much more noticeable when playing a dedicated clone solo in a B3-style than when using the organ in a split or layer on the Stage 2. Of course me too would be happy for a Stage 2 update but probably because it always feels good the have the most updated version of any firmware or hardware...... All in all the Stage 2 is a dream machine!

So, the flagship is the Electro 4D until the new Nord Stage 3 comes and hope that it will be upgradable to stay the flagship and only be surpass by the new nord stage 4.

Regards,

Guess I will just stay with my NS2 73, Vent, Casio Privia PX-3, and Traynor K4. I'm no expert keyboard player, but I do love the sounds I'm coming up with. I am still looking very hard at a pair of EV 112p or QSC K10 speakers to maybe replace the K4.
