Hi folks,

I own a NS2EX88 and I'm really happy when playing piano sounds. Today I had the opportunity to play on a NS2EX compact and I'd love to have this keyboard just as a MIDI keyboard for connecting it to my NS2EX for playing organ and synth sounds. I love this waterfall keyboard with aftertouch!

First of all I think it could be a good add-on to Nord's product portfolio to have such nice red MIDI master keyboards.

Second of all I'd like to know who is the manufacturer of this waterfall/aftertouch keyboard and if there is any MIDI keyboard in the market featuting this very keyboard.

Any hints?

I like it to. I think it is made by Fatar. I'm not sure who else uses it but I also would like to know.

Studiologic is their label
I have old fatar units from early 90's with the same action with AT, but weighted synth keys, not waterfall
Studio 610+ for example
probably very inexpensive on ebay IF you can find one -- $100 or less

Hello Eumel,

this Fatar keybed is also used by Doepfer for their D3M Midi-Controller.
I am thinking about buying this one because I want it for better feeling when playing organ or synth sounds on stage.
