Hello fellow nord stage users. Has anyone figured out to use their Nord stage 2 ex in this manner (nord website quote):

MULTITIMBRAL POWERHOUSE
The Stage 2 EX has three sound generating sections; Piano, Organ and Synthesizer, all of which can be used simultaneously. Furthermore, the Nord Stage 2 EX has 2 separate slots allowing you to have 2 Pianos, 2 Organs and 2 Synths at the same time for massive sonic flexibility.


I am trying to use this nord stage 2 ex with my MPC 2500 and get all 6 sounds firing at the same time in "multimode"
I haven't seen any documentation in the manual regards this setup

Use the global channel. Enable all instruments.

Sorry to have to say this, jfenton, but that strategy will result in a jumbled mess with all six instrument sections responding to the same notes at once.

Go into Midi Menu and set Global OFF, then set each of the six instrument sections (Organ A/B, Piano A/B and Synth A/B) to six different channels. Then each can be addressed independently from remote sequencer or live remote contoller(s).
