Hi anotherscott. Yes I want to do all of what you've said apart from playing the nord sounds on the m3 Keybed, that would be handy but I am not sure if it can be done,
I've been able to do all the other things though by using the above help,

I currently use two keyboards, the M3 and a fantom X6
I only use the X6' s internal sounds for the organs as they are better than the M3
(I have 4 Srx cards in it and two of them have fairly good organs ie, the Jon lord Srx and the srx97)
To do this I select the organs on the x6 and an empty patch I made on the m3.
For the rest of the songs that don't use organs I use the m3.
The tricky part is that many songs make use of both keyboards,
So I use the x6 as a 2nd keyboard for m3 sounds sent on midi2,
I have a preset saved on the x6 that i called midi2 for this purpose.
The x6 is my upper keyboard and so If a song I am playing just uses one keyboard I have a second preset on the X6 that I have called midi1 and it allows me to play midi1 on it too so I don't always have to reach down onto the m3

Now I have bought the NS a few days ago for its organs, I wish to use this as the 2nd keyboard that will replace the x6 and I want it to do what I was doing with the x6, ie, play NS organs and then use it to play midi 1 or midi 2 on other songs.

Using the above help, this morning I managed to achieve this, i now have some organ presets saved that play the NS organs while the m3 is switched on an empty patch so it emits no sound,
And it's now set up on another preset to play the sounds sent from the M3, and I've set the preset up so that pattern A on the NS plays midi 1 from the M3 and pattern B plays midi 2 sent from the M3.
I have not used the extern channel to do this,
I hope this explained it properly,
kind regards. Brendan

Sorry for not explaining it better originally, but somehow using your help I did it anyway. So it's a bonus.

Got to say, I am loving the Nord Stage, had my first full day on it today,
I've been setting up morphs on the wheel and on after touch with the organs. Using it to add extra drawbars and fast rotor, it's amazing what it can do,
I just wish like the new stage 2, that it could have saved transpose within program's rather than global only.

I have just bought the electro3 last week too, i got them both within a few days of each other, I was going to try and both and decide which one to keep, I thought I would be happy with the electro3 for the organs and wouldn't need the stage but after playing it today and seeing its capabilities I'm not sure I could sell it on,
Unless I decided to sell them both and buy a new NS2,

The Electro might feel a bit limited compared to the Stage, yet it can play samples and has the organs from the newer C2, while the Stage has a dressed down Nord Lead as the synth section and the organs from the older C1. To me the Stage 2 seems to combine the best bits from the Electro3, Nord Wave (synth section, albeit in limited form), the Nord Piano and the original Stage.

I'm not biased ofcourse.
