This is fascinating really. They are all coming on the same boat. They are all going to the same US distributor. They will all be shipped to the music stores at the same time. The only question is which stores are being honest about the delivery dates....

If you think about it this gives guitar center as advantage. Someone who doesn't dig very deep might place a pre-order with them instead of another dealer whose delivery date is farther out.

And then that strategy backfires when the purchaser finds out it is delayed the same as all the other vendors and then they get put on the Backordered list.

I have basically told myself, if it arrives before Christmas it will be a bonus!

Honestly, I'd rather wait a little longer for a quality board than have a sub-par unreliable one after spending so much $$$$.

I contacted the Nord rep @JAM Industries last week and this is what he replied "we are expecting them to arrive sometime in September" ... so let's keep our fingers crossed.

Canada and USA will get it at the same time ... JAM industries is the Nord Distributer in North America for both Canada (Erikson Music) and USA (American Music & Sound).

I was bummed when I saw musiciansfriends date go to Dec 11 on their website, but I got the same email saying Oct 7 was ship date. Must be for new orders.

I placed my pre-order with Sam Ash Manhattan last week. They are insistent that my NS3-88 will arrive there this coming Monday, September 11, and will be on my doorstep some time mid next week. I'm not super optimistic, but I guess it just depends when the boat arrives.

Since I pre-ordered in June I've gotten the exact same email three different times from two different representatives at Guitar Center. Same formatting and everything (GC and MF are owned by the same company from what I understand).
