OK Guys I'll play a couple of examples ON STAGE 3 controlling NS2 with the same samples and conditions. And you guys decide which one sounds better!

In the interest of keeping this thread focused on (reproducible) bugs, could I kindly ask you to post your examples in a separate thread, and once the results are clear summarize the actual bugs here, possibly with a link to the thread? That way, you may also get better feedback on your endeavor. It is of course also fine to use one of the threads where you have already raised your concerns.aureliopenna wrote:OK Guys I'll play a couple of examples ON STAGE 3 controlling NS2 with the same samples and conditions. Thanks in advance for helping to keep this thread focused.

Haven't you already done this, multiple times, in multiple threads, and got the feedback that many prefer the Stage 3, and some prefer the Stage 2?aureliopenna wrote:OK Guys I'll play a couple of examples ON STAGE 3 controlling NS2 with the same samples and conditions. I honestly am not sure what you are trying to achieve: We are not Nord. We are users, mostly (extremely) happy with our machines, trying to help each other here, but otherwise, just getting on with our lives.
The Nord giveth; the Nord taketh away…

Sorry guys my mistake. it was not my intention to post this post here in this thread. Don't worry I won't post anything here. Anything I post is on my own thread.baekgaard wrote:In the interest of keeping this thread focused on (reproducible) bugs, could I kindly ask you to post your examples in a separate thread, and once the results are clear summarize the actual bugs here, possibly with a link to the thread? Re: List of Nord Stage 3 known issues/bugs
I have Nord C2d, and a NS3. I noticed the organ sound of NS3 is not the same as in the C2d, especially the behavior of the Leslie simulation, and the sound of the Leslie. I think, in the NS2 it was better. I like the new synth engine very very much, it has incredible possibilities. The only thing I am missing very much is the pending patch change possibility. In several times when we are jamming, it would be good to browse in the presets while I am playing in live mode.

This has now been addressed with the latest update (1.36), so hopefully your C2D and NS3 sound more (if not fully) identical given you have identical settings on them.igatos wrote:I have Nord C2d, and a NS3. Re: List of Nord Stage 3 known issues/bugs
Hello,
I am not sure it is the right place to post this, but I found no feature request thread as such.
The NS2 had a great feature that not many of us was using, but I was…
With each instruments shifted Octave up key, you could assign the sostenuto pedal
to perform a latch mode or a temporary keyboard hold, (KB gate), thus allowing you to alternate between instruments by the press of a foot switch. That was really handy, and I miss it. I know it is possible to do something similar with seamless change, but that requires another pedal. Those who use the triple pedal loved its versatility in previous NordStage versions. Please, let us have it back.
Cheers,
JPR

As it says in the first post: "Feature requests are documented similarly in the 2nd tab in the google sheet".
You can find the link to the google sheet also in the first page; feel free to add your request there, thanks.
Note that this is a user effort, so you may also want to send your suggestion to the support page (also found in the first page).

Re: List of Nord Stage 3 known issues/bugs
hello, the store key does not let you hear the program you were editing at first. You have to Dial to another program and dial back to the original programme if you want to hear its original version.
