One problem solved (sending midi change messages), another problem occured.

I now use midi in with the Irig2 and IPad
But I have an Alesis Vortex (to play solo not behind my keys, but in front of the band) and use my NS2 as the Sound modul and so I need the midi in for my IPad

How can I manage this Problem?

Buy a Bluetooth MIDI adapter such as Yamaha MD BT01 for your Vortex and connect it to the iPad via BT, then iPad can make the routing to NS (using iMidipatchbay or similar app)

Alternatively, if you want to stay on cables, you need a MIDI Merge box

Thanks again. I believe in cables, so I will buy a Midi Merge box (A tool I did not know).

The little MIDI Solutions boxes are great. I got a 1 in 2 out splitter and it's been fine for years.

My suggestion: use the Nord USB MIDI for your iPad with a Camera Connection kit, and use the 5-pin MIDI with the Vortex. I do something similar with an iPhone and a lower-tier controller under my NS2/73.
