Soooo...it's probably a good idea not to freak out when all you've done is put the sustain pedal in the control pedal socket...
Just about to sit down and go through the set for tonight and the Stage 2 is giving me nothing!
Volume up max, latest OS installed, I can playback through the 'Monitor In' to rehearse, but no volume from any patches.
Double checked that both slots are routed through ch 1+2, turned it off and on again several times and I have no idea what's happened.
Used it last week no problem...can anyone help!? Thanks!

Re: FIXED! Nord Stage 2 zero volume output, GIG THIS EVENING
Haha, great!! Been there. Happenbed to me some month ago, quite a big stage and sistance to the sound guy. Really freaking out tried several cables and DI boxes before finally figuring it out. Another time happened that the control pedal (FC-7) somehow had stopped working, which also resulted in no sound.
Lesson learned: In case first thing, try without any pedal connected...

Did the same thing at a gig last night. No sound on the Stage 2.
I have six pedals to plug in to my two boards and in a slightly rushed setup, one often ends in the wrong socket

Interesting. Great tip to file in back of my brain.
Almost see the need for some time machine for going back into the 1970s and implementing a STANDARD whereby Sustain Pedals would foremore use one kind of connector and Volume Pedals would use another
If I remember, the Kurzweil line used to detect what was being plugged in, detect the polarity of the pedal or something so that when you turned it on, it knew

Label the inputs and plugs with various matching sticky tape colours!
