one additional note to the above -- Nord has begun using Torx fasteners. Owners of newer Nords will need Torx tools instead of philips.

Thank you so much! Are used your amazingly helpful instructions today to fix a couple keys on my electro 3 that were sounding too loud.
I appreciate you taking time to do it.

Re: Help! Key Stuck at Full Velocity on Stage EX73
After I destroyed my M-Audio Keystation 88 while clumsily attempting a similar ribbon repair, I now keep all my keyboards religiously covered when not in use to cut down on the dust. The M-Audio was full of cat hair among other things.

Re: Help! Key Stuck at Full Velocity on Stage EX73
PLEASE GUYS NEVER EVER DO THIS FIX AT HOME. I just damaged my keyboard in a way I can only pray I don't have to buy a new one. TRUST ME, ALWAYS SEND IT TO A REPAIR STORE LISTED BY NORD unless you are an electronic engineer or similar. Even if you are in the middle of nowhere and you have to drive for days or send it on a plane. Work around the key as much as you can.
Just suffering the consequences right now. I wish I have never found the tool to have the chance to mess around with my Nord.
Best regards to all, Ezequiel

Hi Mr G, sorry for the late reply.
I burnt part of the circuit. It was fixed at the authorized repair shop in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Best regards,
Ezequiel

I got it. Pulled it upwards with a pliers.
I didn't see any dust or something. Everything looked OK. So i just removed the rubber contacts, placed them again and it worked perfectly...
