Hi all,
I was just wondering is it possible to control the settings assigned to the wheel via an expression pedal? Save taking hands off the keyboard that was all? Cheers!

Re: Control Wheel with Foot Pedal
I guess you mean on a NS2, right? Well, apart from the Synth Vibrato and teh Rotary morph (which are not ssignable to CtrlPed), wnything that you can morph using the ModWheel can be morphed via CtrlPed as well. Open the manual and read carefully the chapters about the Morph feature.
Otherwise, for a more radical solution (but it has a cost) you may buy a Midisolutions Foot Controller for your expression pedal and program it to generate the ModWheel MIDI CC #1 then send it to the NS2 via MIDI

Yes NS2. I basically have assigned different volumes for synths to come in over a piano sound and have assigned these to the control wheel. Was basically asking if you control these individual volumes assigned to the control wheel to an expression pedal. Which port would you plug it into and is it easy to set up in settings? Didn't want to let up 2 hands whilst playing to increase these volumes. . Thanks for your help by the way. .

You do the exact same as you do with the wheel but with the expression pedal button next to it. Plug pedal into controller pedal.Jrwilshire2003 wrote:Yes NS2. I won't explain in depth - you should read the manual. Nord's manuals are very easy to read and are simple to follow. Link here.
