Hello there, I just got a stage 2 ex this week and looking for a little help. I did some research but I'm having trouble finding an exact answer. Can I use 1 expression pedal to control the. Control pedal and swell pedal inputs? Can I do this without a multi output pedal? If so which pedals can I use and what settings do I need to have set? I already have several foot pedals when I play live so I'm just trying to limit going overboard. If I can accomplish this with a single pedal that would be ideal. Thank you in advance.

It's in the manual - you can configure it that control pedal also functions as a swell pedal by default. So if you're having an expression pedal in the control pedal slot and have enabled this it will automatically function as a swell for the organs. The downside ofcourse being when you have to control them separately at the same time.

At least that's how it works for the classic - can't imagine it's different for the NS2

Ok, I read that and honestly haven't made it all the way through the manual yet. Lots to learn. So I can get a FC7 or similar and be fine controlling both? Independently not together is fine for now at least.

As long as you don't both have an organ and assigned the control pedal you should be fine. It's a setting in the master menu IIRC.
