Hello again! I posted on here first about the terrible action of the Stage 2 EX 76 HP. I decided to put my money where my mouth was and buy a Stage 2 76 HA. There was only 1 available anywhere that I could find, and it has been heavily gigged. There are some cosmetic issues, but I don't care about those. My 2 issues are these:

-There are 6 black keys that only respond to a hard touch, not soft. They make no sound at all on a light depression. Can these be repaired by me, and how? I have seen a few repair videos about nord boards, but I'm not sure what I need or have to do in my case.

-The next issue is that when I rotate the scene selector encoder, it does not always switch to the next song when it has been rotated one "click". I would say that every 9 out of 10 times, the encoder has to be rotated two clicks to advance to the next scene. It's like it gets stuck. Is this an issue, and how could it be fixed?


Lastly, should I keep this board or steer clear of it. I have initiated a return on this already, but I did want to check with the pros to see what is the wise thing to do. I do enjoy the action of it, and I will not be keeping my HP either way. Thank you!

I guess that the keys that do not work might have dirt on their contacts or the rubber contacts worn down. There are some tutrials on how to clean them.
The encoder pehaps needs changing. If you do not what to do, I would send it to somebody who does or return it and wait for a better one. I bet that there will be more 2nd hand ns2 units for sale after the ns3 starts shipping.
