Nord do have a case for the HP range on their website. Says it is compatible with the Stage 2 EX 76 HP. This is smaller than the 88 key version but no backpack straps.

Hello

Thank you for your feedback.

At the moment my plan is to buy a simple bag because until the end of the year the keyboard is not supposed to get out a lot. Just for more 'familiar' and nearby concerts.
Next year I will look for hardcases. I loved the iSeries (model 3i-4719-8B-L). I hope that I can buy it from Portugal (Europe).

For the moment I found a (gig) bag. It is the Roland CB-61 RL. It fits like a glove. Also gives a surprise element:
- "Look, a red roland... - Oh, wow....it's a Nord!!! "

Roland CB-61 RL: 1162 mm (45-3/4), 125 mm (4-15/16), 360 mm (14-3/16)
Nord Stage 2 EX 76HP: 1122 mm (44), 127 mm (5), 347 mm (13,6)

Cheers,
Mário

I found in the keyboard forum a reference to fusion bags (http://www.fusion-bags.com/, UK); they do a couple of bags (wheels or backstrap) that seems to correspond to
the HP nords size.
Know anything about them other than having fouond the site.

I use a Fusion bag for my 88 key Roland RD 700 GX. I think its great, very robust and provides good protection all around.

I don't know what the bag that is sized for the 76 key nord is like as I don't have that one. I use the old Nord HP bag (that came with backpack straps) for my Electro 3 HP. I still occasionally use the backpack style straps but after people mentioned that they can break I don't like taking the risk.

Has anyone actually tested the Gator Pro Go slim 76 bag with it? Is that confirmed to fit?

thanks Ben

Sorry about replying to a relatively old thread, just wanted to share my experiences as I would have appreciated finding about this before ordering a G-PG-76 SLIM myself (first post as well, although i thought i had posted something years ago)..

Anyway, I just got the bag for my Nord Stage 3 HP76 and no it does not really fit. I have leg plates attached to my synth and they add about 20 mm to the thickness (and add weight), but keeping them there is just too convenient. They also make the synth sit better on my Rhodes's curved top.

I have a hard case i need for the gigs anyway, but would love to find a soft and lightweight bag for transporting the synth in the buses and in the subway.. I had Nord's soft case with wheels for a while and didn't want to keep it because it was too heavy and big. I know there's alternatives, I mainly wanted to try the Gator because it had long side pocket and a shoulder strap, relatively thick padding but not super heavy. If somebody has found a perfect lightweight case please let me know!

The Fusion Keyboard 07 fits it very well. I had to buy mine direct from Fusion in England.

The ns2 is not a cheap instrument so I always like having a bit of rigid protection around that thing. The gig bag is sweet if you are actually traveling with the thing on your back but if you are in and out of cars, get an iseries, you wont be disappointed. I use one for my ns2sw and one for my electro 4hp. The handles are actually quite comfy

I've been using the iSeries 76 SKB for years on my Stage 2 76. Now using it on my Stage 3 76.

The Nord Stage 2 HP76 absolutely does not fit in the Gator G-PG-76 Slim. I bought it from Thomann but had to return it. It's only a tiny bit wider, but the padding is very solid (in a good way) and it's impossible to close the zip without breaking it.

I'm currently using the Fusion Keyboard 06. It's a nice, snug fit and the backpack straps are excellent, so you can definitely walk down the street with the keyboard on your back. The only issue I have is that the height of the Nord is 127mm, while the bag is 180mm internally. This makes it a lot bulkier, especially if you put pedals and cables in the compartments. It feels much heavier and more awkward to carry around than the SW73 in the Nord bag, even though the weight difference is small.

I honestly don't understand why Clavia would come up with such a light 76-key weighted board and not produce a gigbag to make it easy to carry it around!

I agree that the SKB cases are brilliant. I've got two SKB iSeries 5014-6 - one for the Stage (it just fits) and the other for the Lead 3 with all the pedals and cables. You can even stack them on top of each other and pull them along together.
