Anyone have a Bad*ss Harmonica sound?
Looking for the stage 3. Need it for a couple of blues tunes we are doing and I haven't found anything even close. Any suggestions?

I have tried several times the Nord Harmonicas loaded in my Stage 2 or from the website, but for,Blues, nothing beats a real player....Just ask a guy to pass by for your tunes and offer him a beer....We do that all the time for one Sulertramp song and "Long Train Running" by the Doobie Brothers....

Or you try to play the harp by yourself, it is not so difficult with a little practice.
I'm a harp-player too, so the trick here is that you need a harp in another key than the song is to sound bluesy. Well call it crossharp-playing.
For example the song in C you need an F-Harp. Always 5 semitones up. Begin with the "suck"-tone then you got it. It takes a little time to hit the single tones but then it works.
The hardest thing is the bending which you get with a special position of your tongue.
little excursion to harp playing

I haven't heard them, but have you tried the ones here?

Whatever you choose, employing pitch bend can help. I find it best to lower the pitch control just before striking the note and then release it after striking the key. And add some vibrato via aftertouch.

You can try adding overdrive to one of the stock patches. I found it to be pretty good for Blues Bros.

## Updated wave file ##
I tried to sample it from another keyboard, but I don't get the loops right.
Maybe you can try it yourself.
I've sampled 3 semitones each. Starting from (I thought) C2.

edit: damn... i've recorded it with reverb...
edit 2: uploaded a new one without reverb and delay

Yup, I was just about to post, you should record it without effects! Nice sound, though.
