Hello
I found out that there is a switch inside the Nord Stage to change the voltage to 110v or 220v
Here in my city (in brazil) we use 220v, and I always have to use a power transformer for everything
So, I think I will change it to 220v and replace the fuse also.
here is a link to the other forum about this stuff.

DrNeurus,
yes its exactly the same (I just bought my NS2 from the US for use in AUS), but there is a giant metal casing around the power board area.
I used a chopstick to flick the switch, as I had trouble unscrewing the metal casing,
but my NS2 is working great now :)

Re: 110v/220v voltage selector switch inside the NS
Hey all,
So seeing if anyone can help me. Stupidly i plugged in my "nord Stage" into an Australian 240v outlet with a generic adapter and powered on the unit.
Unfortunately the switch to change it to 230V was un changed and was still on the standard 115V. hence my massive problem, the unit will not turn on anymore and im pretty sure i overlaoded it.
Have i blown my unit??
Any help would be amazing,
Cheers

Have you check the fuse?

Thankfully it was just the fuse!

I changed the switch on my Stage2 yesterday and took pictures of the metal casing. the screws in the metal case appear to be glued or something, as they won't come out, but its easy enough to reach the switch with a screwdriver or something.

Re: 110v/220v voltage selector switch inside the NS
The same happened to me, I bought my NS2 in US, and now I plugged in my country to 220v and it doesn't turn on anymore. The fuse looks ok, and it says 250 so I think it should be working. And it doesn't look damaged. Anyone know what can I do?? Can it be just opening it??

What country is that?
I also bought the NS2 from Sweetwater and i'm waiting for it to arrive to Israel (240v). I asked them to perform the voltage change themselves at the store, so it would be under warranty. I hope it all goes well, because i think that even if they change the switch and the fuse - they have no way of checking it works with a europen voltage in the U.S.
Or do they...?
