Anybody did the typical Stevie Wonder sounds ?
Superstitious, I wish, Isn´t she lovely ...
All the songs have "Standard" Instruments, but they all sound special ...
Like the clav in superstitious ...
Any suggestions ?
Tom

Re: Stevie Wonder Sounds
Hello tommy,
Maybe in good hands that know how to play this riff and tweak the sound this could be a starting point :

Re: Stevie Wonder Sounds
The original is "lighter", so I tried : - switch on the eq and lower the bass, - shorten the amout and rate for de delay
Maybe it's better !
Edit : I have tried to use the "Clav Eq Hi" and "Clav Eq" of the piano section instead of the effect section eq, add a wah, add chorus ...
A truth is that I don't play the riff correctly so I can't make it sound

Re: Stevie Wonder Sounds
A last one & another attempt for superstition, played with two hands this time & changed the clav : C, brill, treble, med and soft are ON, "A-WA2" effect (the closest to the original MU-TRON iii ?)

Re: Stevie Wonder Sounds
Perhaps you should search torrent sites for "Superstition Multitrack". I have it and you'll discover that there are 8 tracks of clavinet, but really only 2 distinct parts. The doubled up tracks have various pickup selections and delay effects. All of this means it's difficult to make it sound like the original track.
