Are there any punchy tower to power style brass samples
I just can't find any really punchy, powerful brass sounds for the stage 2. Things that could do a decent tower of power funk brass sound. The pop brass ensamble are way to synths and thin. Any ideas of any really fat brass sounds that might be out there? Having to use my Kronos for them right now and I'd being able to get rid of it altogether if I could solve the brass problem with the stage 2.

I use my brass samples from my XV5080 with some brass from the proteus, I agree that the Pop brass from Nord are a bit too "pop" work great for Lsedgehammer for example but for tower of power, you ask for. One of the best sax/brass section....I would say find at least one sax and play any sample behind on top and you will be happy with.....but just a sample, what ever goo the sample is, will never be very close to tower of power....

Sample your Kronos
Roland fantom has a horn section arx card which is the s***. Can't really sample it properly though for several reasons

Great idea: sampling the Kronos! Will do that.
Given the overall flexibility of the stage you'd think nord would creat a great horn sound as I am sure here will be plenty of people playing soulful and funky things that could use it. Perhaps more useful than a harpsichord?

Actually I cheated. I went and purchased a kickass funk brass library and then sampled that. Everything worked fine apart from the lack of ability to control the articulations properly. But for simple samples it was fine.
