Re: Which headphones are you using?
I've got some Sennheiser RS 180 Digital Wireless headphones. I really wanted to go wireless as I got fed up with fighting chords. They are decent but not great headphones. They have a bit of noise to them but they do give you the freedom to move around a bit. As wireless options go, they are good.

I like mine. Definitely worth a try (or get the original 240 Studio, which seems sonically identical, just comes without a second cable and pair of ear pads.
They are rather comfortable (in particular compared to the soundwise excellent ATH-M50's.
Note that they are semi-open so they are obviously different (or serve a different purpose) than the HD280 Pro. Depends what you need them for. But definitively worth checking them out in particular for not so noisy environments.

My guess is you're gonna love it! Best way of enjoying the full Stereo panorama especially of the Pianos.

I like my Audio-Technica ATH-M50's, but I'd like to try out a pair of the 240MkII since they are semi-open and would probably work well when listening to my jazz records as well.

Depends on the circumstances. Closed, over the ear or In-Ear-Monitors. They both sound great. Noticeable improvement going through a really good DAC and preamp.
