Soft Case for Piano2HP

Postby donharrss1 » 05 Apr 2014, 00:16

Hi, I have searched and read every article on this topic, but can't seem to locate a definitive answer. Which Nord soft case is made for the Piano2HP?

Thanks!

I thought the NP2 HP was the same size as the NE 3/4 HP, but actually (ccording to Nordkeyboards official site) it is slightly smaller

- Nord Piano 2 HP: 1066 mm (42") x 121 mm (4.7") x 340 mm (12")

- Nord Electro 3/4 HP: 1078 mm (42.4"), 121 mm (4.8"), 344 mm (13.5")

and there is no specific soft bag for NP2 HP made by Nord

On the other hand the differences are quite small so you may buy the NE HP soft case and use some soft material (a cloth) to fill the gap, if really needed. This is also what some online shops like Sweetwater suggest link

Big help, thanks. I missed finding the dimensions of that case.

If it doesn't have to be a Nord case, take a look at the Gator web site. You can search by make/model, and in the unlikely event (they have thousands listed) of your k/b not being there, you can search by dimensions.

You also have a choice, eg for the Casio PX-5S, there are three different cases listed to fit, a soft one, a semi rigid, and a flight case. Prices are reasonable too.

The Soft Case for the Electros is great, quite rugged and rather flexible in use. The Piano 2HP will surely fit in. Go for it.

Thanks. Turns out these are a discontinued item. Hopefully Sweetwater will get a few in at the end the week. I have a nord case for the C1 and love it - very well made and it's holding up very well.

Was able to locate a soft case for the Electro 3HP and it fits the Piano2 HP perfectly. Thanks for all the info.

I just bought a Nord soft case for my piano2 HA88. Seems that it only fits when I removed the plastic panels in the zipped internal side pockets. In fact these panels don't seem to fit logically. Anyone else struck this issue?
