Specifically for the Nord Piano but from what I can tell the legs/stand are the same for the Nord Stage and Electro.
I like the looks of the NP/NS with the legs a lot. It also minimizes your set space footprint. That's a serious consideration for me with these set up spaces for live music shrinking every day. Pretty soon they'll want us to set up a trio in the broom closet.
One big reason I'm considering the NP88 again is because of its compact width. When I used it from Sept-Dec last year I was using my Quick-Lok WS-550 table type stand. The 550 is perfect for my CP5, also used it with great results with an SV-1 88, CP300 and Roland 700GX. However when you spread the legs out it does take up a pretty decent size of real estate on the stage area. I remember when I set the NP on it the small scale of the NP looked out of whack sitting on the 550--the NP almost looked like a little toy keyboard--not cool.
So--basically how much of a pia is it to set up using the legs ? Does it take over a minute ? 30 seconds ? I'm guessing you turn the keyboard upside down or perhaps partially on its side in the case and then screw in the legs ?
Also do the legs and music stand fit nicely into the dedicated Nord soft case ?
I'd like to get them but if it's a hassle and takes too much time--I can set up the 550 in under 10 seconds and probably break it down in half that-- forget the legs.
So a yea or nay for the legs ?

So what's the consensus on the legs/stand ?

Yea for the legs. It's so much better than your average X stand.
What I do is turn the NP upside down in the case and screw in the legs, lift it up and presto! Not more than 30 seconds (depends on how fast you screw them in).
The problem is you have to get used to the angle of the screws in the board. It's not straight up and it messes with your head the first couple of times you do it. After that, you get used to it and it becomes faster and faster.
Soooo much better than all my previous X stands. Plus it looks so vintage, it's not even funny!
I don't have the music stand, but the legs fit great with the pedal and all my cables in the Nord Soft Case.

Re: So what's the consensus on the legs/stand ?
Thanks Cee. Yeah it definitely looks much cooler then my WS-550 table type stand--nice picture of your trio there.
So do you leave the plate or base , that the legs attach to, affixed on the bottom of the keyboard ?
I've heard that plate or base adds a little more overall weight to the schlep.
I know about aligning the angle of the legs to screw in--that was the drill on the 3 Rhodes and the 1 Wurlitzer I owned in another lifetime...

Yes I keep the plates attached to the NP all the time. I can't really say how much weight they add overall because I had them screwed in from day 1.
But just holding the plates in my hand I remember them not being that heavy.

Re: So what's the consensus on the legs/stand ?
Thanks Cee, I will definitely go ahead and order the legs, along with the case, whenever I end up buying the NP--which should be in the not too distant future.

I usually leave the legs attached and just grab the Nord and haul it in. It rides well in my van with legs.
When I do take them on or off it only takes a few minutes, not as much pia as, say, putting up with the guitar player !

Re: So what's the consensus on the legs/stand ?
I've had my Stage 2 88 for a week now and enjoying it very much.
i've just had the legs/stand delivered for it.
I'm at work at the moment , but i've opened up the box had had a look - There aren't any assembly instructions, but everything looks easy to assemble - but I do have a question
the two handscrews with the plastic grips- where do they go?
and what are the two black sticky pads for?
thanks

Re: So what's the consensus on the legs/stand ?
Hello Rob,
Welcome to the forums!
The handscrew with plastic knob(s) holds the crossbraces from the back legs to the underside middle of the Nord.
As I recall, the 76 and 73 HP use one handscrew, and the 88 needs two "slight possibility that it's the other way around though".
I believe the sticky pads go in between the header frame and the underside of the instrument.
I've emailed my US rep to see if he has a set of instructions that he could provide.
There's some pics in these threads that might help:

Cheers, hanon

thank for the reply
i've got home now and 1 pair of legs are different to the other pair in that they have chunky metal thread - not sure if these are the ones i should use on the front or the back.
I see now where the hands crews go.
i've had a look at the links you gave , but they don't mention which legs to use on the front and the back
