Smooth Transition When Changing Programs
Within a song, I switch from program #1 to program #2 to change key and split keyboard. As soon as I hit #2 the sound stops abruptly. Is there a way to have one program smoothly transition into the next?

Probably one of the most wanted improvements! Ideally I want to hold the sustain pedal down while switching, and the next key pressed will be the next program.

To Nodirection:
Well ok. I must say I was not expecting this to not be possible. I just assumed it was a setting I had overlooked. I'm wondering in your (or anyone's) opinion. would it be possible for a system update to provide this or would it have to be part of new piano and board? Maybe Pablo would have an opinion or could suggest a work around, if there is such a thing. Thank you.

Volumes have already been written about this subject in this forum, including thoughts/suggestions on workarounds, including some by me. Johannes' friendly forum search engine should be able to assist you in locating some of those threads.

Hello. I see Johanne has 84 pages of posts. With all due respect, since you know where the information is maybe you could be a little more specific. Thank you.

Re: Smooth Transition When Changing Programs
I don't know where it is other than somewhere in the forum archives. And not necessarily one of Johannes' posts, but available through the search engine located near the top of the screen (this public forum was created by and is owned by Johannes). I like to be helpful when and where I can, especially if I have enhanced info on something, but spending time searching forum archives to find existing answers for other people's inquiries does not fall in to that category. Not trying to be abrupt, snide or anything else here...perhaps there are other forum members who may chip in and do some archive searches for you...
Thanks DJ!

"... Including thoughts / suggestions on workarounds, including some by me," I would think you would at least know where those are. To be blunt, you give the impression that me and my post are annoying you, even though I've done nothing more than ask a question. I do not understand why there are lines through the text of your last post. Maybe someone could explain. I'm getting the feeling I've done something wrong here but have no idea what it is.

Frank-
It is probably because Pablo wrote his response above before I had responded with the links above.
Pablo is one of the most helpful and knowledgeable persons on this forum. He is Nord Support for North America and comes on here as a courtesy and a resource. We know you are new to the forum, but when a subject has been discussed many times for years, it is expected that your could do the search yourself and find the answers you are looking for.
Please feel free to PM me directly if you need more details.

Re: Smooth Transition When Changing Programs
I see. So if I'm understanding the flavor of this forum correctly, both you and the support person are saying it's appropriate to tell a new member who posts a question: "this has been discussed many times for years" look it up yourself. You're right, I am new but I've already run across posts where members have gotten into skirmishes with this same support person whose replies were inappropriately edgy and less than helpful, much like the replies to me. I'm getting the impression that because our support person is regarded as "knowledgeable" members of this forum must be careful that our questions are not beneath him to weigh in on. I for one would prefer a support person who is a little less knowledgeable and a lot more helpful! ...Thank you
