Piano 2 key range edit

Postby Owen Parker » 30 Apr 2014, 19:43

Hi-
I wonder if anyone can help-
I have Piano2 HA88- I am about to do a series of gigs and I would like to use the very low A,bflat and C to trigger and exs sample on Mainstage- Therefore I would like to disable just those notes on the nord itself, so they obviously don't play-
Could anyone tell me how this is done?
Cheers

Hi Owen,

The only way I can think of doing this will involve turning local off and running the midi from the NP2 to your computer where you can slice and dice it according to whatever whim you may have, mapping portions to Mainstage and other portions back to the Nord.

Bless,

Pablo

Of course, Owen, you will need to define an "External" channel strip in MS, assigned to the NP Midi port, then set its key range to your tastes

Hi Pablo-
Thanks so much for your help-
I also spoken to the Nord supplier in the UK- think I've figured it out.
Thanks again.
