The MAP (Mfg Advertised Price) price of $2,995 posted previously, came directly from the U.S. Nord Distributor (American Music and Sound) and not Sweetwater. $3,295 is more than likely the "retail price".
$2,995 may be what Sweetwater has posted for their "street price" and they can certainly can call it what they choose to. As for myself, I would not pay the high $2,995 MAP price and pre-ordered mine for far less by just by making a few phone calls using the Nord Dealer Locator. http://www.americanmusicandsound.com/en ... ord/dealer is all it took. Again, I think it is wise not to post or quote actual "sales prices" or advertise for music stores on forums ... how they get their product to the market is up to them and their advertising/sales dept.
Eventually, the true "street price" will surface (far less than $2,995).
