Need assistance from Pablo:
My NP2, which is just under 1 year old just booted up with no outputs functioning at all including headphone. All lights are on, local on, levels up, everything I can think of, but no output. I have checked all cables, headphones, etc with my NE4 and all works fine there, but the Piano appears to be DOA.
Any guidance, assistance, etc would be appreciated......Need Help!
I am in San Diego....FYI......

Re: NP2 All outputs out
Hi GP,
I'm actually in Poway at the moment and heading in to Anaheim tomorrow morning. Since this is work-related business, please contact me at work:

Generally speaking, the few times I have heard reports like this it turned out that the sustain pedal was connected to control/volume pedal jack. Do you have any pedals connected? If so, disconnect all pedals...
Hit me up at work if you still have a problem.
Bless,
Pablo

Re: NP2 All outputs out
Unbelievable.....such a simple thing. Of course I looked at the audio cables, connections, etc, even looked straight at the sustain pedal (which was indeed plugged into the Volume jack) and said "yup that looks OK!" What a knucklehead I am.
Thank you Pablo for knowing exactly what to look for..... humbled, and all is well....
Enjoy your stay here in CA.

No problem -- I've been in the "granny glasses club" for some years now and have learned not to trust myself to connect anything without these magnifiers on my face!
Will confess that it does feel nice to guess these kinds of things, but will take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to my friend TOMAS JOHANSSON, now retired from tech support position at Nord, and the one responsible for teaching me this lesson. He deserves as much or more credit.

I had the opportunity to exchange emails with Tomas Johansson some years ago, when I was dealing with a problem on my NS Classic Compact, he provided great support and with a friendly approach, open to discuss tech details too, I didn't know he retired but for sure he has that well deserved.
