Hi I currently use piano 2 and I know that it uses a fatar keyboard (not the best imo) so does the 3 have the same keyboard? Anyone know if there is any changes? I see the display is bigger.

Re: Nord piano 3
The NP3 keybed is significantly different in two respects (as noted on the Nord website): 1) triple contacts per note, and 2) ivory touch keys. The triple contacts provide for faster and more detailed playing. My initial impression of "ivory touch" feature, based solely reading about it, was underwhelming. Then I got to put my hands on one at NAMM 2016. IT IS AMAZING what a huge difference something so seemingly trivial makes! Many, many people are going to really love this new keybed. For the record, it is also a Fatar product.

Re: Nord piano 3
Dear Pablo, except of the triple sensor and the ivory feeling, is the new keybed heavier than this of the Nord Piano 2? The heavier clavier is very essential for me. Notice that, one year ago, I didn't buy the Nord Piano 2 because of the clavier. Despite the excellent sounds, it was very light for me. "Maybe this time, I'll be lucky"!

Hi Vassillis,
if you will take a look at the Video, Chris Martirano says: "more weight has been added"

Hi tomzi!
Really, I wasn't careful in this point of the video, weight was added. I will wait for the "test drive", after the release in Greece!

Re: Nord piano 3
Truly, the test will be in the taste, as they say. Yes, it is true that the action is heavier. That Fatar keybed (TP/4) is available in three weights: light, medium and heavy. Nord has historically used the medium version. The NP3 uses the heavy version.
