Over on another forum, a posting indicated a drop in the MAP for the NP2 88 from $2999.99 down to $2499.99. Anyone confirm this? Just a rumor?

So today we see hints to the next iteration of the NS2.....Any specifics or clues about the next NP2?

In a number of shops (including a couple in Paris and thomann.de) also the price of the NP2HP and NE4HP went down.
I would be very very surprised if Clavia update the whole NS/NP/NE line together, compared to past history; ok, you never know :->.
May be it just a price adjustment to cope with competition ?

I was planning to buy a Nord Piano 2 88 the next year, now I'm waiting to see if a new Piano 3 is coming out (I hope so).

The only thing that would convince me to upgrade my NP1 is a better keybed 8-)

Other than more piano sample memory, there's not much more I want on the NP2
I think I have gear issues ....

Its been said in other forums, but better funkier organ sounds (a la Hammond B3, blues) would be a very welcome addition. If the sound generator engine doesn't evolve to include them, then maybe some additional samples on the sample site would be nice? The few that are there are pretty good but would like some more choices for attack, tremolo. Altering these after sampling e.g. in 'synth effects,' as has also been noted, just sounds too weird.

Wouldn't it then be a Nord Stage 2? i can't see them adding this to the NP as it blurs the division between the different product lines.
And now for something completely different...
