Re: Nord piano 2 keybed make
Will not fit -- physical dimensions are different.
Pablo
P.S. -- also, velocity characteristics not likely to be the same. Portions of OS would need to be rewritten to accommodate differences...

What are the advantages of that TP/40 Wood ? I've never heard of it. Better playability ? More control ?

Re: Nord piano 2 keybed make
I am the proud owner of a lachnitt mk 2 Studio. http://www.flkeys.at/home.html
By the way if anyone is interested in a absolute dream masterkeyboard i can highly recommand this masterkeyboard. The keybed is based on a fatar tp 40 wood it´s just a dream.
My wish is nord would use this keybed in future instruments. It´s much better than any keybed i have ever played in Digitalpiano. (Roland RD 700GX, Yamaha CP 33, Nordstage 2, Kawai ES 7)

Re: Nord piano 2 keybed make
I've played a Yamaha p80 for 16years and its a fantastic keybed. But sounds are so out of date. The nord keybed is shocking compared to it

Very hard to get a good keyboard under 18kg without having to sacrifice

I play a P120 sometimes, yes Yamaha can.NordIOW wrote:I've played a Yamaha p80 for 16years and its a fantastic keybed. But sounds are so out of date. The nord keybed is shocking compared to it
With time you will adapt to the keybed and like it more. I like the Clavinova action very much. But my NP2 is "ok".
Studiologic says something like: TP/40 is a keybed for beginners, TP 400 feels like a piano and TP/40 wood like a grandpiano.

Re: Nord piano 2 keybed make
There are different versions of the TP 40 keybed look: http://www.fatar.com/pages/TP_40_GH_ES.htm here TP 40 Wood: http://www.fatar.com/pages/TP_40WOOD.htm
I think nord is using the TP 40 Medium, Kurzweil forte uses TP 40 L and for example the physis piano or Studiologic Numa Nero use TP 40 Wood.
