nord music sheet stand worth 120 bux?
Don't mean to sound cheap considering how expensive a Nord keyboard is already. Most companies would include a music sheet stand with the keyboard.

The one for the Piano 3 is nice, I like it, and it's removable if you're trying to gig too.

I'm not gigging. But it needs to be on and off easily cuz my computer monitor is right behind it. Is there any screws in the back to hold it in place? Is it heavy duty? Are the edges sharp?

There's a relatively sturdy plastic receiving bracket on the back that it slides and snugs down into. It does tilt back so it takes about 4" clearance behind it. The top has a rounded lip that goes back 2-3mm; the corners are square but the rounded top makes it a non-sharp corner. The finish is nice and it holds a good 1" or so of sheet music. The cost is a little excessive but it's a nice stand for me.

I have two, one for the stage 2 and one for the C2 and they are very good, I put a 1.5 inches binder on it and no issue. Also, as they are wide, you can have 3 sheets in front of you.

I like it for what it is but agree it's very expensive - can't see how it's more than $30. And it's not magnetic - I was hoping to be able to use magnets to hold the sheets to the stand in the wind - will need a plan b....
But perfect fit, also fits in the pocket of the piano bag. One less piece to carry. It's all good

I like the idea of magnets to hold the music sheets down. I went ahead and ordered it. Can't hold back anymore.
Thanks all.
Thanks all.

It's not magnetic. I use things that look like large spring clips.
I've owned one for several years now, and carry it with me all the time. It has held up very well with no scuffs or scrapes. It's wide enough for four page (with some overhang), and sturdy enough to support a binder. It slides into the pocket of the Nord HP (73 or 76) bags, and is more stable than a cheap wire music stand.
Yea, it wasn't cheap. Worth it in my opinion.

Just to be clear - I said it is NOT magnetic...I hope that wasn't the deciding factor in your purchase decision (though I suppose strong magnets on the sheets would attract strong magnets behind the stand...).

Re: nord music sheet stand worth 120 bux?
I've bought two now. The first one for my NP88 was much less - maybe around $70-75. I sold the NP88 along with the stand to upgrade to the NP2.
Then for the NP2 , I was shocked when they were at $120. But I went ahead and ordered it anyway. I will say it is, hands down, the best music rest on any DP in the biz. But $120 ? !! Really ? C'mon.
I paid $30 something for the cheap plastic one for the CP4 and rarely use it. I usually end up bringing my Manhasset to a gig. Just works better - more stable with binders and can accommodate 3 page charts. Like the Nord.
Ah just remembered something. Towards the end of my time with the NP2 ( a little over 2 years and many gigs) , those little metal pins on the music rest that slide into the holes - one of them became separated from the music rest and would stick in the hole when pulling the stand out. It protruded from the holes enough so you could pull it out ok and then stick it back on the stand. But considering what I paid for the stand ---yes it was a pia. And more then once I didn't notice that the pin was sticking in the hole when I packed up the keyboard in the Nord bag. No damage done but I guess eventually the pin could have dislodged from the keyboard and become lost if you weren't keeping your eye on it.
